HAPPY KIND OF SAD

I'm counting down the days, my last few days in IQ/MTC.

I know I should be looking forward to the day I could start my day without thinking my responsibilities at work. Plan my dream vacation, watch dvds endlessly (probably finish seasons 3 to 6 of my latest addiction, without a trace), and bum around without having to worry about emails from clients, phonecalls from franchisees, and hellraising texts from my beloved boss!

It just feels weird lately though. I enter the production, and I can't look at them without feeling sad. For almost 2 years, they've been part of my life, went out with them, drank with them, partied with them, shared my life stories with them. And in week's time, I'm walking away from all of it.

I've grown so much in the last two years. I've pushed myself to limits I never knew existed. Mostly because of the relationships I've built with everyone. I know I've said so many things about THE BOSS, but looking back, I learned so many things from him. He taught me a lot about myself and on things I'm capable of. And whatever's been said and done between us, he'll always me one of the most influential people in my life.

The managers and staff, they have been my social-life buddies! Since my friends went abroad, and mina and i rarely see each other, they've been the people i go out with. I'm pretty sure, i'd still be seeing them every once in a while.

The QAs, aaawwwwww, surely gonna miss them most. My blood, sweat, and tears have always been about them and for them. They were my raison d'etre in my almost 2 year-stay. I'm gonna miss the laughters, the pasaways, the quality issues, the constant nagging and complaints.....haaay. My heart aches walking away from that room.

The MTs, well I kinda lost touch with them a long time already. I got busy, i had nagging issues on favoritism, so i had to let go. Sayang lang cuz some could have been genuine friendships. I just hope that for what it's worth, I made an impact on their lives somehow. I hope they learned something from me, kahit konti lang, cuz that has always been my intention -- to give a part of me to them. And hopefully, at some point, they do rise up from where they are and reach for their goals. I got to know some of them more personally and they have potentials. I just hope that they don't stop realizing them!

But at the end of the day, I guess, this all sums up how I feel about leaving:

If you don't go after what you want, you'll never have it.
If you don't ask, the answer is always no.
If you don't step forward, you're always on the same place!
Take risks for life goes on!

I'm just taking the risk of letting go and looking forward!
