I DID IT!

I finally did it! I am officially RESIGNED! I couldn't believe it has happened. I mean, the whole I was with the company, I wanted to resign everday! I mean, don't get me wrong, I love the job, I love the friends, I love the challenge, it's just that, it could get really, really tiring.

As I type this, we are preparing to take my mom to the airport. She leaves in 5 hours, so we gotta be there really early. It's a sad moment for me. First time she'd be away from us for a very long time. SOOOO SAAAD!

Then the thought of losing another big part of me hits me, I won't be seeing anymore the company of people I've grown to love in about a month from now. This is happy kind of sad really. I'm happy for the chance to breakaway, sad cuz I'll be missing friends. Who are they?

1. The QAS - kahit iilan na lang sila, so hard to say goodbye to them, really heart-wrenching! I really really love them!
2. The managers and staff - will see them pa din naman, so no biggie.
3. The MTs - awwww, really gonna miss them, specially those who I've been friends with. I do hope I'll get to keep the friendship with the ones I'm friends with. I guess, we'll be better friends cuz I'm not their boss anymore hehehe.

Here's my resignation letter.

President
IT Outsource, Inc.

Dear Sir:

I would like to thank you for the opportunity you have given me to have worked with such wonderful people. My stay in your company has been the most challenging experience I've ever had. I've learned so much and I will take this experience with me wherever I go.

However, this experience which challenged my capabilities is the same challenge which is taking its toll on how I am living my life. Not only has it caused me sleepless nights (and days), it has also taken away quality and quantity time I should have spent with myself and my family. Furthermore, yesterday's incident made me realize that this job is not something I would want to be doing still. There are so many things in my job that I could put up with (and there have been a lot I've put up with) and there are things which I couldn't. And to borrow your words, "Something's gotta give". I guess that would be me.

Therefore, I am tendering my irrevocable resignation effective May 30, 2008. I will be spending my remaining time with the company turning over my responsibilities.

Again, thank you so much.

All the best,
